Bring on the light...one of my favorite parts of Christmas is the clear lights everywhere! I love colored lights also but clear are my FAVE!

Feedback on Photoshop Elements 5.0 or 6.0

I want to buy Photoshop Elements, but now I see there is a 5.0 or 6.0. I’m not into making videos just working with pictures. Any suggestion from you guys? At Costco they are the same price. Thanks for any input!

So I am looking for a point and shoot to fit in my purse so I can take photos where every I may be. But I have had bad experiences with my previous point and shoots. So what is your guys' opinions? I am looking mainly at the nikon coolpix and the canon's powershots. I am open to other brands, but I liked the fact that I still had the manual mode on these particular ones and that rapid consecutive shots..since I am usually taking shots of moving kids. Let me know your take! Thanks guys.

My friend treated me to a pedicure and I fell in love with the pillows at the spa. So that became my inspiration for CLOTH.

Photo Hunt and the Next Meeting

We had a great meeting on Monday (the 12th) and missed everyone who wasn't there. Our next meeting is, as planned on the first Monday of December (the 3rd), at 7:00 p.m. In January, February, and March we'll be meeting on the first Tuesday of the Month due to class schedules.

As I mentioned in my previous post, we are starting a weekly photo hunt. The themes are listed on the right side of the screen, the first one being CLOTH. Here's mine:

Everyone is invited to join, member or not. If you are a member of our camera club bring your "hunt" photos to the meeting and/or post them to this blog. If you aren't a member then post your "hunt" photos to your own blog then send me an email and I'll post a link to your site. The more people who join the photo hunt the better. I personally think it is a great way to learn from each other as well as meet new people (blog friends are a lot of fun...trust me!).

I'm dying to see how you all interpret Cloth.
